Protecting Your Kids

Now how much love for a child is to much? When is becomes an obsession turning you into a jail keeper or locking your child up inside the house to be shielded from the real world it can be too much for a parent to do. In the movie Alpha Dog with Justin Timberlake this kid has the great love of his mother and father, he is fifteen and a white male. Shielding very much so from everything outside his own home. Eventually the kid becomes rebellious and starts to smoke weed. His parents protect him so much because they don't want him to end up like his older brother and a drug dealer. The kid gets kidnapped and then killed by the enemies of his brother. Then his mom is very sad in an interview many years later. She tried to commit suicide three times and all the kidnappers serve life sentences. This is a true story and it make me start to think about how much my own parents love me to death and my sibling. I felt emotional because I would never want anything to happen to my family. Movies of drama, or true life are great especially when they teach you a story for your own life. If you can learn something from it then great. The stupidity of the kidnappers also made me mad since they apparently had it all. The women, money and nice houses but they were so dumb they had to kill an innocent child for no reason. If they had any common sense or morals of any sort then they would know killing someone gets you in deep trouble.
